Teachers participating in Science+C integrate curriculum-enhancing Science+C units in their current core Biology, Chemistry, and Physics courses. The activities include tools and techniques where students use, decode, and modify computational models in support of the Massachusetts Digital Learning/Computer Science (DL/CS) and science standards.

Course structure:
Science+C enhanced courses have seven computational thinking units inserted into existing science curriculum.

1 2 3 4 5 6 7

Unit structure:
Each Science+C computational modeling unit is a three-day sequence of lessons

DAY 1 | LESSON 1
Exploring and Using the model to conduct experiments

DAY 2 | LESSON 2
Reading and Decoding the model for understanding

DAY 3 | LESSON 3
Evaluating and Making Modifications to the model

Lesson structure:
Each Science+C lesson follows a similar pattern
